Sending a deletion request

Sending a deletion request is a right that most of us have, given to us by law in most of the countries in the world. Notably GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in force in the European Union is the most know piece of legislation granting this right to all of the EU's citizens. But there are a lot of countries in the world that offer this right to their citizens so check to see if your country or region offers this right also.

On againstdata.com you can exercise this right by clicking on any company and pushing the "DELETE" button. When you do this a legal template will be sent directly from your email to the privacy email of that company telling them that you have chosen to delete the data they hold on you.

Please be aware that for certain services or application the deletion of the data also requires the deletion of the account you hold with that particular service. Always consider carefully what applications or services you use and if you still use them.
